Polyband has long-term agreement for Discovery Channel programs

(Dornach/Cologne 28 June 2005) Polyband Medien GmbH, Dornach, 100% subsidiary of Splendid Medien AG, Cologne has concluded a broad cooperation agreement with Discovery Global Licensing, Inc., Silver Spring (USA), on the marketing of high-quality home entertainment programs for the German speaking European market.
The agreement includes the right to select programmes from the Discovery Channel Premium Pogramme for exclusive distribution on the German-speaking home video market.The first titles slated for release to mass-market and specialty retailers in October 2005 include American Chopper and will be followed by titles like Dinosaur Planet, Searching for Lost World, Horror Files with Anthony Head, Extreme Machines and many others. These initial features will be supported by a broad marketing campaign including advertising in print, on-air and online, as well as, co-branded in-store materials and POS material.
