Los Angeles, November 13, 2025. Beta Cinema has closed first presales for the upcoming Nordic thriller OPERATION NAPOLEON – TEARS OF THE WOLF, currently shooting in Finland, Iceland, and Germany. Distributors acquiring all rights on a screenplay basis include: North America (Magnolia Pictures), UK & Ireland (Signature Entertainment), France (Mediawan), Spain (Twelve Oaks) and Poland (Hagi Film).

A sequel to the internationally highly successful Operation Napoleon – which sold to more than 40 territories and became an outstanding success in Germany in 2023 – the new English-language adventure reunites Vivian Ólafsdóttir (It Hatched), Jack Fox (Riviera), and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (Severance, True Detective), under the direction of Jyri Kähönen (Trackers, Bordertown).

In the new installment, Kristin and her team embark on a thrilling hunt for the “Tears of the Wolf,” a legendary treasure trove of Nazi diamonds that was hidden during World War II. After witnessing a murder, Kristin discovers the first clues and, together with Steve and Einar, deciphers fragmented war artifacts, lost musical notes, and encrypted codes. Their journey takes them through Iceland, Finland, and Germany, culminating in a suspenseful chase through Helsinki's underground bunker system and a dramatic showdown in the Finnish archipelago. Hunted by brutal mercenaries and a deadly assassin, the trio must navigate numerous twists and turns, betrayals, and deeply buried historical secrets of Europe.

The script is written by Marteinn Thorisson (Operation NapoleonJack TaylorNiko). New additions to the cast include Tom Weston-Jones (True Things, Warrior, Copper) and Laura Birn (Void, The Crow, A Walk Among the Tombstones, Foundation).
